Hope Aero announced that it is moving to a new facility, located a few kilometres from Lester B. Pearson International Airport. Hope Aero purchased the 36,000-square-foot building to meet growing demand for maintenance, repair, and overhaul services in the Canadian aerospace market. The move will be complete November 15. “The facility gives us over fifty percent floor space expansion and fosters significant improvements to our continuous-flow production system. Rapid turnaround time is paramount for all our customers as it reduces their need to invest capital in additional LRU spares,” said Terry Hope, president of Hope Aero.  The facility has been fully modernized and modified to accommodate a continuous-flow system. The production floor features dedicated wheel and brake and propeller tear down and re-assembly areas, with shared support services such as cleaning, NDT, painting, machining, shot-peening, and anodizing strategically placed to support both production areas fully.
