David Hope

David has been with Hope Aero full time since early 2011; he was initially hired as the sole Customer Service Representative and additionally took over full responsibility for IT support. Over the next few years David supervised the expansion of Hope Aero’s Customer Service team and took on increasing responsibilities throughout the operational aspects of the business, including jointly heading the migration of Hope Aero’s ERP and Payroll systems from in-house software to large-scale commercial packages to better manage our growth. David became Hope Aero’s AMO certificate holder and Transport Canada Accountable Executive in early 2018; upon stepping into the Finance role in 2019 David is responsible for monitoring and analysing Hope Aero’s finances to facilitate strategic and operational decisions. David has a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering and an ongoing passion for vintage aviation.
