Cody Taferner

Cody Taferner is our NDT manager. He first started working at Hope Aero in 2008 for a co-op while he studied Quality Engineering – non Destructive evaluation at Mohawk college. Once he completed his post secondary education he started working full time being trained on NDT and visual inspection on various aviation components. Cody holds a CGSB Level II certification In Eddy current, Penetrant, and Magnetic particle testing and he is skilled in both on and off wing inspections. He has helped customers all over ontario from Toronto (YYZ) all the way to Moosonee (YMO) going wherever inspections are needed to ensure the aircraft is safe to continue flying  for the customer.
